    Hello,

First of all I want to apologize for opening a new topic but the old one is marked solved but doesn’t solve my problem and I noticed that further replies were not answered.

I am having this problem for some time. When a customer tries to make an account, after filling the entire form, instead of the congratulation message that the account was created an error message appears: Cannot read property ‘message’ of undefined.

And it happens frequently. If I modify something in the form and update it, it works fine for a couple of hours. But the problem is recurrent. Also if I duplicate the form and use the new one, it works temporary.

My my problem is that we are having clients complaining and I noticed that our bounce rate is high now.

I really enjoy this plugin and it is exactly what we need. Could you please help me so that we can continue using it?

Sorry for the inconvenience and I am looking forward for your reply.

  • Hi there,

I apologize for the inconvience caused. Can you please tell us if you have any caching plugins used? If so please provide us the names of caching and security plugins you’ve used.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thank You!

    Hello @sanzeeb3,

Thank you for the reply, I am having hope now.

Yes, we are using WP Fastest Cache and I also saw that Autoptimize has something to do with cache. So these might interfere somehow.

Thank you, waiting for your reply!

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize (and I think WPFC as well) on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (and/ or WPFC) (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,
    frank (ao dev)

    @optimizingmatters thank you!

The problem doesn’t appear now because I updated the form in the morning but I will try this in a few hour or tomorrow when the problem appears again.

I really hope this problem can be solved.

Ah, in that case this is probably linked to nonce’s (security tokens with limited lifetime) that although expired are cached by WPFC, you’ll probably have to configure WPFC to cache for a shorter amount of time.

I tried excluding the form page from the two plug-ins and the problem still persists.
Could you help me with other solutions?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello again,

Sad to know the issue still persists. We will try to prevent this issue in the next version update.

    Please stay updated!

    Thank You!

    Hi again @mgma,

The new version 1.5.7 update of the plugin is now available. Cache helper is added to flush the cache on demand. The issue should now be fixed.

Please update the plugin and let me know if the issue still persists and I will look forward for other possible solutions.

    Thank You!

    Hy,
I have the same problem, this red alert message that shows at the end of every registration “Unable to get property ‘success’ of undefined or null reference”.
I’m not using any caching plugin.
I was thinking to simply translate that message, I use Loco translate with which I have already translated some parts of the plugin, but that error message is not present among the translatable plugin files.
    Could you please help me?
    Thanks!
