Cannot read properties of undefined

    Hi,
    I use Visual Composer since a while on my website, but since few weeks, I can’t edit a page with the builder.
    When I try to add a gallery, I can’t delete images, I have this message : Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘trigger’)…

    I try to disable all my plugins, but it doesn’t change. I try to use the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper but nothing change either.
    When I change the Theme, it works, but I don’t understand why it doesn’t work with the Theme I need.

    Do you know where the bug could come from?

    Hello,

    If it works with a default theme like Twnety Twenty Two or Twenty Twenty One, then it looks like the issue might be arising from the theme being used at your end.

    I can recommend checking it to make sure that the latest version of theme is being used to avoid any compatibility issues.

    Yes the issue comes from the Theme.
    It’s a theme I created so there is no update and the weird thing is that I’ve always used this Theme with Visual Composer and it worked great.

    Any idea what could be the issue?

    Hi,

    A thing to check will be to make sure that the theme is coded as per the WordPress theme development guidelines.
    If the theme follows WordPress development guidelines, then in most cases there are fewer conflicts.
