Cannot read profiles directory

Hello,

Can you look over FTP and see if there’s a wp-content/uploads/profiles folder?

If not, can you create one and chmod it 777?

Where are your uploaded files normally kept? In wp-content/uploads?

Is your server running linux or windows?

Just checking to see if you figured this out.

I ran into this error too. And Kurt Payne’s suggestion worked like a charm.

Maybe somebody can add this as a Q&A entry?
