Cannot publish products page

I also needed to add that when I UPDATE or Publish a product, the URL changes from https://www.xxx.co.za/wp-admin/post.php?post=504&action=edit to https://www.xxx.co.za/wp-admin/post.php and displays the 404 error. Thanks for any help.

Try saving your site`s permalinks in the Admin page for WordPress

Tried that many times:
Even deleted site and reinstalled older backup, no luck

The url when I edit the product is https://www.wigworld1.co.za/wp-admin/post.php?post=5146&action=edit but when I Update or Publish it goes to https://www.wigworld1.co.za/wp-admin/post.php and adds the message
Error 404: The page or post you have been looking for does not exist on this website.

I just realized that it sees the product pages as posts, when I Update the product page it looks for it between the posts, find nothing and gives the error 404. How do I fix this??????
