cannot post. not able to write on post content

  • Hello all,
    Funny thing… after updating to 4.3 I cannot click on post body to start typing a new post, also no media upload!

    I have the iOS app for wordpress and is working perfect! posting, media uplad… everything!

    so, is not saving or posting… the post field is not editable on web manager…

    Any ideas?

    What is it doing? Freezing? Any error message?

    Cannot click on field to start typing… Same at new pages… No error message, no freezing, just this… Also cannot upload media. Click on button and stays like that.

    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Also, any op cache or content network cache, as well as Cloudflare, clear those caches.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
    – Using your browser to identify JavaScript issues or conflicts. Do you have any Javascript errors in the console when looking at the editor page? – This article can assist you in doing that diagnosis

    Hi, I have the same problem, I have tried to update my blog and other parts of my wp site and the “update” button is not working. I have tried on safari and chrome and it doesn’t work on any of them. “update” button freezes when I push it.

    I checked the error and it says this.

    TypeError: 0 is not a valid argument for ‘in’ (evaluating ‘”length”in a’)r

    and Also this

    load-scripts.php:2:4519

    You may want to discuss with your host.

    If you still need assistance, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. That way you stand a good chance of getting full attention to your specific issue. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.

    Hy, sorry for my delay ??
    So… I’m using only one plugin: jetpack… (Off)
    Switched to default theme… Still no luck!
    I think I will do the updates only from mobile app… Strange!

    I’ve just updated my only plugin and reinstalled wordpress… Seems to be working now from mobile browser, I will check again from my laptop.
