Cannot post nor edit freshly installed wordpress

    I just download and install XAMPPP (php 7.1.9)
    I drop newly download wordpress 4.8.2 in there
    Created database and install wordpress everything works fine log in and admin page show up.
    I can login,add new user,add or delete plugin but when I tried to add post or page or edit it won’t work and show as failed request to admin-ajax.php but the request that return server time seem to work fine.

  • Hello,

    I guess it may cause from any of your plugin those are installed in your site. Try to deactivate theme one by one and try .

    I do fresh install so there aren’t any plugin but I also delete anti-spam that came out of the box but still no luck

    It turn out that posting and editing are blocked by firewall under blog-posting category(this category is firewall specific)
