Cannot Post New Blogs in update 5.2.1

  • Add me to the list of those that can no longer easily add new posts. I have been a Word Press user for 10 years and I made the mistake of “upgrading” :–( and I can no longer add a new post.

    Why is this now so brutally difficult?

    Also are there any videos and/or directions how to post using the new update 5.2.1

  • Upgrading is never a mistake. Do you have the classic editor plugin installed.

    Why do I need this “classic editor” when all worked perfectly for 10+years prior to the upgrade/downgrade to 5.2.1?

    This thread is a million miles from being resolved. As I mentioned, is there a video and/or written directions as to why this happened and how to fix this…

    Oh and also, is there a someone to call for “live phone Support”

    This is beyond bad.

    I would suggest installing the classic editor as that will likely fix the problem you are having.

    I asked a question. Replying to my question the way you did means you probably do not have it installed and I am no longer interested in helping you due to your attitude. I wish you the best of luck in finding a solution. We are a volunteer based forum here and I am not going to take that kind of treatment from you nor will many of the other volunteers. Unfortunately, there is no phone support offered on WP.org only this volunteer based support forum.
