Cannot post, get fatal error

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/fhlinux130/f/mywebsite.co.uk/user/htdocs/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1402

    The error I get is above. I just “moved to trash” around 150 posts in one go and tried to empty trash but I got a database error.

    Now, when I try to view posts I get the above error message.

    Can you help fix please? Been trying for ages, plugins all deactivated and define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’); added to wp-config.php
    If I try to increase limit, my homepage won’t load.
