Cannot paste in cells or make text bold.

Hello, I’ve created a table using the Data Tables Generator by Supsystic free version. The table is nearly how I would like it to look, however I have some issues.

I would like to make only certain parts of the text within a cell bold and the function for bold just does not work for only some text. I can make everything bold but not just some. When I highlight the text that I want bold it changes to bold but when I continue typing and try to turn off bold, it will not.

Also, when I right click hoping to paste text, there is no paste function there.

Also, I cannot backspace delete text, when I try, nothing happens and when I want to add or take away text, I cannot do anything until I click on the cell and start typing then all of my previous text disappears.

How can I achieve what I want please?

I have deactivated my plugins one at a time to see if this is the issue, however it is not and also tried using a different theme but the problem is still there. I’m using the Twenty Seventeen child theme and WordPress version 5.5.1 I installed your plugin a couple of days ago.
