Cannot Modify Header Information

    I am getting a header modify error on many of my sites lately the latest of these is this

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/64/12072764/html/websites/treetents/wp-includes/category.php:1) in /home/content/64/12072764/html/websites/treetents/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1196

    I still do not understand the cause nor how to fix it.

    This error usually occurs due to a conflict with a plugin and the WordPress core. Try disabling all plugins and see if the error persists. Other than that you would need to give me a bit more information as to what you were doing when the error occured

    I have managed to fix the problem, sometime within the last few day the mentioned files have been updated in one way or another which has caused the issue simply rolling back the file to a previous version fixed the problem. The error occurred when trying to access the admin page.
