When we access the connection Tab for the Plug in Facebook for woocommerce :

    • Catalog Id and business ID are wrong (meaning not ours, probably old version and a former business manager account that used to manage, pixel and ads).
    • When we attempt to Manage the connection via the Call to action “Manage connection” we land on a facebook page showing : COnnected app, Something went wrong, please try again later.
    • Everything is set correctly : currency, we try to connect the plugin via Meta also. we also wait as the message told us. But at the end of the day, the tracking via API (servor side) is not working, which leads to a deficit in tracking and ads performances.

What would be the best method to (re)set this connection WordPress / Meta correctly and have a proper tracking via both Pixel (browser) and API (servor) ? Disconnect everything and reconnect ? Delete the plugin and cache and reinstall it again with a proper Business Manager, Page, Pixel and catalog ? Something else ?

Thank you really much for your help on this matter

    Hi @vincentaicardi,

As I understand, you’re seeing the wrong account IDs on your Facebook plugin’s connection tab. Please try using the disconnect link and starting the connect process again. Please don’t use the “Manage Connection” button, but the “Disconnect” link. Can you find this link on the Connection tab?

Once you have disconnected you may start the process again with the right account following these steps: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#connect-your-facebook-account.

After this you’ll be able to use the right account and set up your Facebook pixel to track conversion events as expected.

    I hope this helps!
