Cannot make widget changes in IE

  • Hi,

    I typically use FF however, I noticed that I am unable to add a text widget form IE. I add the text widget to a particular sidebar & when I click edit, the text widget disappears as if I’ve done nothing. However, when I try to leave the page, the warning displays confirming that I want to leave the page without saving the changes.

    To better diagnose, I performed this with 3 different sites/urls, on 2 computers, one w/ IE7 & one w/ IE8, used different themes both with & without any plugins and still… the same problem.

    Any ideas?

  • You have to add the widget, save and then edit the widget and save.

    Thanks…yeah…I’ve been reading up on the issue. I though the issue was resolved back with one of the 2.5 versions, but apparently not as I am running 2.7.1.
