I just upgraded from WordPress version 2.7.1 to 2.9.1 and everything seemed to go fine. Went to login at wp-admin and it said database needed to be upgraded, so I clicked the button to do that and it completed succesfully. Clicked continue (to login) and I am getting a “Error 500 – Internal server error”. Tried in Firefox and IE, same thing. Going back through the steps, I did not disable the plugins before upgrading (never done that before), so not sure if that may be the issue.

    HELP!!

hi there, i’m having the same problem. Can you roughly explain what do you mean by renamed your plugin folders?
