Cannot login to WordPress admin panel

What error did you get?

Did you try the “lost password” option?

Yes, that was the first step I tried.

1. The ‘lost password’ didn’t work because the email address is wrong or invalid?

2. What did you try in phpmyadmin? Set a correct email address in wp_users table (not wp_options table) and try “lost password” when you try to login again.
