Cannot login to newly installed wordpress admin dashboard

I just installed a new wordpress in AWS environment. There was nothing else (no theme, no plugin) installed in wordpress. But I had problem to login to wordpress (first user). When I entered the URL, it showed a pop-up for the username and password (cannot attach a screenshot). I entered the username and password. It blinked and showed the pop up again. I tried everything, double-checked my password, cleared the cache and cookie, checked for the firewall (there was no firewall since the pop-up appeared after I entered the URL). Nothing worked. Please help me to resolve this problem.

I also run my browser (Chrome) on Chromebook running Ubuntu. I do not know if this would cause the problem. I use wordpress before, but only in the intermediate level. Please help.
