I have worked out that if I rename the plugins folder to say pluginsx this disables all the plugins and I can then see my login screen. Needless to say all the plugins have been disabled and now the question is how do I go through one at a time to enable each to find out which is the problem plugin.

OK so now slowly getting the hang of this. I have now renamed the folder back to its original plugins name and I can now one by one reactivate each of the plugins. If I find the culprit then I shall post it here. Still don’t know why this happened.

One thing you might try is to be sure your htaccess file is as you want it, then lock its permissions to 0404 so no plugin can change anything there. Overall, BulletProof Security can handle that very well.
