Cannot login on sites that already had 2FA

    I have never had any problems with this plugin, but after the (automatic) update to V5.0.0 I cannot login anymore. On both sites I had enabled 2FA with WordFence Login Security.

    FYI: I have combined Login Security’s 2FA with 1Password so that the input field is automatically populated for a secure but still comfortable login.

    On login the input field for the OTP is only visible very shortly, and immediately after that is disappears and I see an “Invalid Login” message…

    Please look into this Login Problem as I do not seem to be the only one having problems…

    UPDATE FYI:
    I can login if I disable either WP Security or WordFence Login Security via FTP, so there definitely there is definitely some kind of conflict since the update to 5.0.0.

    Sorry about this. There is a conflict with Wordfence on the login page. I am currently working on a fix and hope to release something in the next hour.

    Please update to the 5.0.2 release – this detects if Wordfence Login Security is active, and if so, disables AIOS’ new TFA feature.

    With 5.0.2 in place everything seems to work as before.

    Thanx for the quick fix, but I must admit that after this experience I am a bit hesitant about setting up the new “PHP firewall” thingy on offer ??

    And a question:
    Is Team Update now responsible WP Security?
    If yes, is there any kind of official statement on that?

    I’m asking because I have just published the 4th edition of my German beginners book on WordPress, and in one chapter I recommended Updraft Plus for backups and WP Optimize for, well, optimization.

    WP Security was – at the time of writing – the only non-Team-Updraft-plugin in that chapter, and apparently that has changed?
