• Hi,
There was everything just going fine with my blog, and installed a new plugin (IP blocking). Everything looked fine, but when i tried to login from another computer later, i failed. Failure means:
    – no errormessage
    – when i try to go the login page through the link, it just bounces back to the original page
    – when i explicitly type in the login-page address, i allows me to go there, but when i try to enter, it kicks me back to the website

No way I can reach the dashboard or get any errormessage that would hint me about the problem. Since the last change was the installation of the IP blocker, it may have something to do with it.

  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the IP blocking plugin’s folder in wp-content/plugins.

Using ftp or by logging in to your hosted account and using what ever file manager they have change the name of that pouting.

    [Edit] Darn, kindle too slow.
