Cannot login/ Made a mess

    I’ve made a mess and am looking for help if anyone is willing. Here’s what happened.

    TL:DR I created a www.remarpro.com blog years ago and cannot login in because my email is recognized.

    1. Created a blog on www.remarpro.com several years ago with success. I hosted my domain from AWS Route53. Went idle on the blog the last couple years.

    2. Flash forward to the present. I want to add a new blog post. I mistakenly go to WordPress.com (not www.remarpro.com) and login using credentials I had as a user there, although I’ve never created a blog there.

    3. in WP.com, I cannot see any of my old blog posts. Not realising I was on the wrong site, and thinking my blog had disappeared, I though I could fix things by transferring my domain from Route 53 to WordPress.com. So I did. Obviously that fixed nothing and now I am unable to transfer the domain back to Route 53 because I cannot figure out how to unlock the domain on WordPress.com

    4. I realised my mistake in that my blog was not on WordPress.com, but on www.remarpro.com. I tried to log in to www.remarpro.com but my email address is not recognised. How do I login and how do I get my domain unlocked at the registry so I can transfer it?

    No websites are hosted on www.remarpro.com. However, you have hosted your domain at wordpress.COM, but it probably points to an external host that is not wordpress.COM. The hosting seems to be on an Amazon server, but this does not necessarily have to be your hoster.

    When you call up your domain, you currently see an error message. This means that the database connection is not correct.

    So before you start looking for logins for WordPress, you should first clarify where your website is located. If you regularly pay for hosting, you should have received an invoice from someone. You can use this to contact the person who hosts the website.

    As soon as you know where it is located, you need to clarify with their support why this error message is appearing. As long as this is not resolved, you will not have a blog and will not be able to register anywhere.
