Cannot login into my wordpress website getting "warning cannot modify header" me

    I am logged out of my website. When I try to log in I am getting the following message:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/donnaoshea/donnaosheafitness.com/wp-content/plugins/simply-instagram/simply-instagram.php:950) in /home/donnaoshea/donnaosheafitness.com/wp-login.php on line 426

    I have tried reading the forum for solutions but I’m afraid I am a very basic user and do not understand the solutions. Is anyone able to walk me through.

    Some solutions have mentioned downloading the file and amending it or doing this FTP. I don’t know what either of these mean.

    Any help is greatly appreciated as I use the site for work.

  • I have the same Problem. I’ve installed wordpress for the first time today. After installation i’m getting the same message: “Cannot modify header Information…”.

    Any solution?

    seems like it could be a plugin issue with the Simply Instagram plugin.

    Disable the plugin would be the first port of call to see if the problem goes away.

    As you can’t login, you may need to try one of the methods described here

    Thanks so much Mike for your response and for the link. It was indeed a problem with the plugin and I was able to get the support team at the host company to delete it for me which has solved the problem.

    Griesgramix – I hope you get this resolved quickly too. I contacted my host company and they were able to fix it. Hopefully this works for you too.
