Cannot login as website admin
-
Hi there!
So, recently I received an email from my hosting company (combell.nl) saying that:
“You are using more than 99% of the available space on your database: **********
We are warning you, since problems can arise with the accessibility of your website and the running of your database when the latter is full”
(my own translation, here, excuse any faulty wording)Ever since receiving this message, when I try to log into my website as admin, I get returned to the login page – no error message, no nothing. Just the login page again. Even though the frontend of my website seems to be working fine. So, I was wondering whether the two issues had anything to do with each other?
One of the suggestions from the webhosting company is that I go look at my databases via phpMyAdmin and see if I can free up space there. I see that I have a table called yzvw_statpress which is taking up more than half my database, and from the entries it seems to be tracking visits to my site. I did install an analytics plugin on the website a while ago and I’m wondering whether this isn’t storing an unnecessary amount of data. If so, I can really do without. But I don’t just want to go ahead and delete the table, since I don’t know if it is important to the website for some other reason. The hosting company advised me to ask WordPress for help.
Thanks in advance for any help ??
