Cannot log into WordPress dashboard

  • I have somehow lost my login info for the wordpress dashboard on my site, and when I go to reset my password, I get an error message saying that I need to enter a valid CAPTCHA value. However, there is no CAPTCHA field on the lost password form! I don’t know how I got myself into this mess! What can I do? Any ideas?

    It seems like you are using some security plugin, I recommend you log in to your hosting account and disable all plugins and that should bring nack the default WordPress login fields that will allow you to reset the password without CAPTCHA.

    Make sure you backup the website.
