    Hello,

I am using the WP Clean-login plugin on my site https://enhansum.com

New user registrations can be created without any problem but they cannot log in to the site. On submitting the log in form with correct credentials no message is received but simply the home page is loaded again (this is the desired behaviour but the visitor is not logged in). Note that new users are created with WP role set to ‘subscriber’.

I am the administrator and I myself can log in without any problem using the same form!

At first I thought that the MemberPress plugin that I am also using is causing a conflict so I deactivated that plugin but the behaviour did not change so I have reactivated MemberPress as it is essential to the working of my site.

Could you please suggest what may be going wrong here. A prompt reply will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Faiz.

    Resolved.

It turned out that this problem was being caused by improper caching. I use WP Fastest Cache plugin. There is an option there to ‘show cached pages to logged in users’. This was turned on and this caused users right after logging in to still see the page as they had not logged in. On removing the check mark from that option the functionality returned to normal.

I’m glad you finally solved! Maybe you can disable the cache for the desired page, and in that case, only the one which contains the shortcode. That should be enough.

    Best regards,

    Alberto.
