When I try to view the attendees of an event it gives me the error: “Cannot load tickets-attendees.”. I also get the error “Cannot load tpp-orders.” when I try to view orders.

The event is a CPT called “event” with nothing but a title, editor, and thumbnail. I associated the CPT with ME Posts so that I can create tickets for each post of that post type.

I created an event, added a ticket for £13 and a 100 ticket capacity. Paypal is setup and I was able to purchase 1 ticket and then 2 tickets. The system shows that I only have 97 tickets left but when I try to view the orders (or the attendees) I get the errors listed above.

I (as the buyer) received the email notifications, and the money is showing in PayPal, but I cannot see the buyers of the tickets. I am using the modified url /wp-admin/admin.php?post_type=mec-events&page=tpp-orders&post_id=940 but it still doesn’t show any purchase details.

    Desperate for some guidance please!

    Hi there,

I am sorry you are facing this issue, but it sounds like you are using Modern Events Calendar? I’m afraid I cannot provide support for this plugin.

However are you also using Event Tickets with it? Can you please confirm a little bit more about what plugins you are using?

thanks for coming back to me. Yes I am using Event Tickets with ME, and fundamentally it works just fine…it is just the feature of showing the attendees that doesn’t work. If I need to change ME to work with another event calendar then that’s not a huge issue, I just want to get this working ! What would you suggest?

    Hi there,

Normally we would recommend using the free version of The Events Calendar, especially when using Event Tickets, if you in fact need a calendar/event plugin. They are made to integrate seamlessly with each other, and I am think this might be part of the issue.

So when using TEC, when you look at your events there is a link there for each to view all of your Attendees, and even when using Event Tickets as a standalone, if you tie your tickets to a custom post type instead of an event there is usually an “Attendee” section that gets attached to the custom post.

Now the Attendee List is different from the Order section, and when using Tribe Commerce, all of the order info is actually stored in your PayPal account. So if you want to see Order data with payment details and such, you have to login to PayPal.

If you are trying to view the attendees, I am unsure as to how Event Tickets has been setup with MEC, so I really cannot say where the “Attendees” tab might end up, if it shows up at all.

Can you clarify a little bit about exactly what Attendee section you are wanting to find? In the backend or on the frontend? Just the attendee list itself?

    Hi there!
