I made the changes and the error continues

    OK, next steps:
    * does this also occur when “also aggregate inline JS” is off?
    * does this also occur when “aggregate inline JS” is off?
    * does this also occur when Autoptimize is off?

All options are enabled. Anything else I can do?

sure, but my question is; what happens when you turn those options off ??

    Now a message appears: “Loading…”

    but not loading

    with Autoptimize off you mean?

in that case the problem is not with AO, so I’ll leave this for the PDF Embedder support staff ??

added the following lines and enabled:

    /wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/all-pdfemb-basic.min.js,
    /wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/pdfjs/pdf.min.js,
    /wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/pdfjs/pdf.worker.min.js

    mas ainda fica “Loading…”

    Hi @cleitonbergo,

Are you using the free version of the plugin or one of the paid versions as the file paths for the plugin differ between the versions. Please see the following for the correct paths for each: https://wp-pdf.com/kb/using-caching-or-minifying-plugins/.

If you have taken the Autoptimize plugin entirely out of the equation, you should then be able to see the scripts loaded in the Network tab of the browser’s Developer Tools. If you don’t and/or see JS errors in the Console tab, then this would indicate that there is a conflict happening somewhere else on the page or post. If you can post a link to the page in question, either here or by sending an email to [email protected], I would be happy to take a look for you.

Hi there. I am having the same issue. I am using WP Rocket as my caching plugin.

When loading a page with an embedded PDF, I get the following error:

Setting up fake worker failed: “Cannot load script at: https:/{{site-root.co}}/wp-content/cache/min/1/wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/pdfjs/pdf-ffce05deb279eb3074982ba7a3535df3.worker.js”.

I have put the following files as exclusions in WP Rocket:

    /wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/all-pdfemb-basic.min.js
    /wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/pdfjs/pdf.min.js
    /wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/pdfjs/pdf.worker.min.js

And I have cleared the cache for both my site and the browser.

Please can you advise the next steps?

    Hi @jamiebcove,

The script is still being served from the previously cached location: cache/min/1/wp-content/plugins/pdf-embedder/js/pdfjs/pdf-ffce05deb279eb3074982ba7a3535df3.worker.js. You need to delete this cached directory file so the scripts can be reloaded in their entirety (recommend that you save a copy as backup before deleting).

Make sure that you have disabled any inline / aggregate JS tools as well then reload the page.

    greetings

I didn’t find the following file to delete

    wp-content / plugins / pdf-embedder / js / pdfjs / pdf-ffce05deb279eb3074982ba7a3535df3.worker.js

    I’m using the free version

the plugin i use is autoptimize

    Hi @cleitonbergo,

Your cached file is going to be identified uniquely from another site. Your cached file is located at: /cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_dbc66ce0501ec7f2032b2b2e87c6765c.worker.js

    Hello,

I can’t find the file with this extension “worker.js”

This file “autoptimize_dbc66ce0501ec7f2032b2b2e87c6765c.worker.js” I did not find in any “wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js” folder

Is there any other way to fix this problem?

cleitonbergo untick the “minify excluded CSS/ JS” option and you’ll see the original filenames of excluded JS/ CSS.
