I am using the Jetpack WordPress plugin on a private LEMP server, and when I go to Admin Panel -> Jetpack -> Sharing -> Jetpack Social -> Connect an account Only one of my three facebook pages shows up for autoposting. The facebook page that shows up is NOT the page that corresponds with my website and is NOT the page that I want jetpack to post articles on automatically.

How can I get my facebook page to show up on the “Connect an account” screen?

    Any Help is appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @danrancan

    Thanks for reaching out.

When I started to look into this, I noticed that Jetpack isn’t properly connected to your site. Without a working communication channel, Jetpack Social won’t work properly, so we’ll need to fix the connection first.

I’d ?suggest ?checking if ?you ?have ?any? security ?plugins ?activated that? might? be? blocking? our requests.? If ?not, ?try ?contacting ?your ?hosting ?provider ?and ?asking ?them? to ?check? their ?security ?logs ?to ?see ?if ?they ?are ?blocking? or ?otherwise ?limiting ?incoming ?and ?outgoing? connections ?over ?XML-RPC.?

Jetpack? uses? this ?file ?to? communicate ?with ?your ?site, ?but ?some ?hosts ?block? connection ?requests ?to ?that ?file.

Our? requests ?look ?like ?the ?following:

    – ?File:? https://example.com?/xmlrpc.php?
    -? User-agent?header:? Jetpack ?by ?WordPress.com
    -? IPs: ?https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/

Please ?ask ?them? to ?allowlist ?the ?IP ?addresses? listed? above. ?Note? that ?these ?IP ?addresses ?could? change ?(or ?more ?could ?be? added)? at ?any ?time,? which? could? break? your? connection ?to ?Jetpack. ?For ?this? reason, ?we ?actually ?discourage ?allowing ?specific ?IPs, ?although ?with? some? hosts ?it ?may ?be ?the? only ?option.

Let ?us ?know ?how? that ?goes. Once the connection is repaired, we can investigate the issue with your Facebook connection.

I believe after I wrote this post, I disconnected jetpack because I was working on some things that required my site to be as plugin-less as possible. However, It is activate now. And the problem still persists. I have a facebook page named DanranRocks, and it is not showing up when I click the “Connect to Facebook” option.

I’m almost certain this has nothing to do with a connectivity problem, but rather some sort of permissions on facebook business squite.

    UPDATE:

To any users encountering this problem also, I have found a solution.

I just fixed the problem as I started writing this. The issue is indeed with permissions on facebook business suite.

To solve the issue I went to facebook business tools, and allowed permissions to share my pages with the connected jetpack app:

    https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings

Now all of my facebook pages pop up when trying to connect jetpack to facebook.
