    Hi

Is it intentional or a bug that the heatmaps are unable to properly show how users interact with dynamic elements like carousels, accordions, menus, etc. on my site?

When I look at a heatmap it shows me a static version of the page and I can just scroll up and down to see what clicks happened on visible elements. I cannot however interact for example with a carousel to see how many clicks happened on the last slide in the carousel which isn’t visible on page load (i.e. requires navigating to). And I cannot expand an accordion to see how people interact with the content inside that accordion.

Is that a limitation or some sort of issue with my site?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @gnuworld,

In previous specifications, dynamic elements such as accordion menus were intentionally suppressed when administrators were viewing heatmaps.
The current version allows the same behavior as actual user viewing.

However, the Aurora Heatmap records the absolute position coordinates of the user behavior.
Therefore, for content that is deployed, the same movement will be more helpful in understanding user behavior, although data from deployed and non-deployed content may be mixed in the same coordinate values.

I was not aware of the question because I was not notified by the forum.
Sorry for the delay in replying.
