• Hello there, hopefully someone can help me because I’m at a loss. I’m logged in to my site as ad administrator, but I cannot see the “Updates” page and I cannot install/update any plugin.

I’ve tried the following so far:
    – Check that I am on a .org installation
    – Check that I am logged in as admin
    – Check that I’m not running on a multi-site network
    – Check that my hosting provider gave me all the permissions I needed
    – Re-installed the main theme

I am able to login to the FTP site and add new plugins from there, as well as updating them, but it’s quite laborious. And mostly, I need to inout the key for my WPML license, but because I cannot edit any plugin from the dashboard, I cannot do so and I cannot install the update needed.

    Help?

    Thank you,
    Alessandro

what is the reason for 2 different versions of backup buddy installed?

suggestion: have you tried to deactivate all plugins (using FTP, change folder names to pluginname-old) and then reactivating one by one to see if there is any plugin conflict?

Hello Lisa, thank you so much for your reply.

I have removed the old BackupBuddy version.

As per your suggestion, I’ve just disabled all the plugins from the website, but the issue still remains (I’ve cloned the website on a test sub-domain site to do some troubleshooting, but it was an exact copy).
