Cannot install ‘Storefront’

    I cannot install the plugin, ‘Storefront’. I receive this message and have tried updating everything.

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

    Plugin installation failed.

    It did work on another site and is excellent.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that you are unable to install the Storefront theme as you are receiving the above error, is that correct?

    This generally happens when trying to install a theme as a plugin.

    Please can you navigate to Appearance → Themes, click on “Add New”, and then “Upload theme”.
