• When I go in to my IWP admin panel, I can update plugins easily enough. However, I cannot install new ones. When I go to manage my plugins from admin and click on “Install” next to a plugin, it simply doesn’t do anything (except the Process Queue box pops up but doesn’t say there is any installing going on, and no plugin is actually installed). Anyone else having this problem?

Seems to me that without the ability to install plugins from IWP, half the functionality of IWP is missing. It’s nice to be able to update, but sometimes I want to install several plugins to new sites all at once.

I have already sent an email to IWP tech support but no concrete answers have been given.

  • I don’t know if you still have this problem, but if you have FTP/SSH/root/admin access, look at the permissions of the files and folders, you are probably not allwed to create new directories, or some permissions is wrong.

The permissions of the files of WordPress should mostly be “0644” for the files and “0755” for directories.
