cannot insert new article

  • Hi Everyone, i am struggling with wordpress, so far i insert all articles without no problems, since yesterday i cannot insert new articles and on the top i see this written:

  • The warnings you’re seeing seem to stem from a plugin in the wp-content/plugins/light directory. Is that something you’ve written, or a plugin you’ve installed? Try turning it off and seeing if your issues go away.

    If the plugin is the problem, you should contact the plugin maintainer(s) via any support channels they provide.

    Patrick thank you for your reply, unfortunately doesn’t seem a problem with the plugins….
    now the warning on the page is:

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap. As you have such an old version of WordPress, you will need to carry out a series of smaller manual upgrades. See Upgrading_WordPress_Extended for the full details.

    thanks for reply, i worry to update wordpress to loose all data i insert inside my web site, i am really crap on using wordpress, can i update without loosing all informations inside?

    Yes. People update their WP sites every day without any loss of data. In fact, keeping WordPress and all plugins/themes up-to-date is by far the best way to protect your content.

    All you need to do to protect your content is to ensure that you back your database up regularly and, ideally, keep local copies of all of your images. media and your theme.

    hi esmi now that i update wordpress i cannot access the wordpress system anymore;more desperate then before!!!! can you please help?
