Cannot insert media into posts

    I am having issues adding media into posts. I just installed my first WordPress site, and it is on awardspace.com free hosting. I am aware the hosting may be causing issues, but they claim that they support WordPress and others seem to use it without issue.

    I can use the media manger and upload photos into it, however, when I press the Insert Into Post button, nothing gets added to the post. I can, however, upload an image to my server through FTP and link with the media manager.

    I have no plugins enabled, and I have tried both the Custom Community and Twenty Twelve themes. I have tried turning off javascript concatenation as well, and that didn’t solve the issue. I would really appreciate help. Thanks!

    As you are using free hosting, and you have tried to troubleshoot with no plugins & a default theme already, this is most likely to be a server setup issue, so it is probably best to ask for support from the host.

    I can’t get the Add Media icon to work when it is clicked in the WP 3.7.1 version. I want to add pictures to my video page and when the Add Media is clicked it does not go to the media library so that I can choose an image. Suggestions?

    It is indeed a problem with AwardSpace free hosting. It’s a shame, because they’re a great service otherwise (they even have great response with trouble tickets! On their free service!) Thanks for your reply, cubecolour.
