Cannot insert graphics into posts wp-4.5.2

    After upgrading WordPress to version 4.5.2 I am not able to insert graphics into ether an existing post or a new post. I have attempted to insert them directly from the media library and have also tried inserting them from the URL. Neither of these methods have been successful. I am using the Modernize theme version 1.21.

    Any suggestions to resolve this issue are greatly appreciated.

    Issue resolved.

    The problem:
    TinyMCE and TinyMCE Advanced Professsional Formats and Styles plugin.
    Removed plugin and was able to resume normal operation.
