Cannot import from Blogger

    I want to move from Blogger to WordPress. I’m using my own host site. Installing WordPress was successful, but I can’t import from my Blogger account. I’ve already granted access at my google account, but when returning to WordPress import page again, there was no post that can be imported. Post 0/0, Comments 0/0, and it is no use clicking the magic button. FYI, at my Blogger account, I have more than 50 posts.

    Please help resolve this problem. Thanks.

  • Sometimes that happens.

    Try importing your Blogger posts to a random WordPress.com account, then export the WordPress export file and upload to your hosted wordpress install.

    It might be crude, but should work.

    thanks. but somehow i’ve managed to solve it myself and it works.

    first i switched blogger publishing from custom domain to Blogger’s free hosting service (of course need to create random account xxx.blogspot.com), then i tried the blogger-to-wp importer again, and it works!

    anyway thanks for the suggestions.
