I have just successfully installed the Qi theme on one domain, https://artchive.io.

Now I would like to build a new site at https://scale.la and I can install the Qode Essential Addons and Qi Addons for Elementor, but there is no option for “import” on the second domain from the Qode Essential Addons menu.

I’ve deleted the theme and all plugins and started from scratch, and reinstalled everything using the WP dashboard tools. Tried again using SFTP.

The problem still persists and is beyond frustrating.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Could you please be more specific? Could you give us some more information, which theme do you have installed?
In order to have the theme demos available you will need to install the Qi theme together with Qode Essential Addons and Qi Addons for Elementor. Only after this, you will be able to take advantage of the Qi theme demos.

You would need to activate the Qi theme if you want to import the demo content.

Thank you for your response. Please see read my message again. I am using the Qi theme on both sites. I have Qode Essential Addons and Qi Addons for Elementor, and Elementor installed on both. I am the designer / author of both sites; https://artchive.io correctly shows the “Import” feature for Qode Essential Addons; but that button is missing at the install at https://scale.la.

I have completely deleted WordPress and corresponding PHP databases, then reinstalled, and made sure that my SQL and PHP were beyond the requirements, I also modified my php.ini.

I then installed all of the above plugins, activated them, and then installed and activated the Qi Theme. Each time the Import Content feature is missing.

I should note I am using the “Managed Apps” WordPress installer at media temple.net and I have attempted this with 3 other domains there, and the problem persists with each install. It only seems to work on name-cheap.com, the host for artchive.io, where it is also a “managed app”, as in, I did not use SFTP to install WordPress for any of my installs, but was instead, managed through the hosting provider’s dashboard.

    Hi there,

Please ask your hosting provider to check in your PHP settings if ‘allow_url_fopen’ is enabled. The ‘allow_url_fopen’ needs to be enabled so import could work.
    Do let us know.

    Best,
    Qode
