Cannot get Yahoo! OpenID worked with WP-OpenID

@link2caro: Another commenter said that Yahoo OpenID works now. Can you confirm?

In WP-admin I got this failed, don’t know if it is the reason.

When I was trying to add a new openID I got this message:

WP-OpenID Version: 2.1.4

yahoo should work with wp-openid v2.1.6

just installed the 2.1.5 5 mins ago, now it’s 2.1.6 or it’s me who is hallucinated?

it’s having trouble authenticating the openid message. This is typically done using an association, which would be stored in the database. Just in case some of the assertion entries got corrupted, click on “rebuild the tables” at the bottom of the options page for wp-openid, then try again.

one quick and dirty option would be to add the following to your new <input /> field…

style=”background: #FFF;”

After doing a table rebuilding, I still got this message

Error: OpenID assertion failed: Server denied check_authentication

And I checked in the DB, there is nothing left in openid_associations and openid_nonces after rebuilding.

I have a similar problem with the latest openid plugin version.
After a login attemption with openid, always I’ve been redirected to WP-Login page, although I received a valid login from an openid server.

This behavior is independent of an openid service provider. Doesnt work neither with yahoo nor with myopenid.

Any idea?

It works for me with Yahoo! and MyOpenID account. I’ve just found out an issue while registering with Yahoo! OpenID:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Log_file::error() in /home/wp-content/plugins/openid/logic.php on line 653

The user is successfully created, but the addition of the OpenID into openid table is failed.
