Cannot get the carousel in JetPack to work on the listing.

    I cannot get the images in the listings to work. After I load the images in the gallery and go to the listing page, I click on the photo and it just goes to the url of the image. I am using the Curbappeal Theme.

    I have tried updating plugin and wordpress.
    Tried many different kind of lightbox plugins and the jetpack.
    Tried deactivating all plugins and adding the images. No Luck.

    I am not sure if I am not doing the images right. I figured I would just need to add them into the media gallery section for the photos in the listing page.

    They are added correctly (using insert gallery), but the Carousel script is not being loaded on that page. Be sure you have activated the Carousel feature in the Jetpack settings.

    I have the carousel activated. At least it says I do.

    Oh I see.. looking at it closer, the gallery isn’t actually being added correctly.

    Use the Insert Media button, and click Create Gallery. I believe once the WP gallery is detected on the page, the Carousel script will load.

    Thanks! I can’t believe I missed that one ??

    I have one other question regarding the carousel. I created the gallery and selected slideshow type. On the listing page it shows the first image large but the next images don’t show up in the middle and just shows a thumbnail size image on the left.

    When I select thumbnail grid, that works just fine.

    The slideshow gallery type doesn’t render correctly when added to a tab (in wp-listings or any other tabbed interface). This is because inactive tab content is hidden on page load and has no height. The slideshow gallery type requires a height to be defined in order to calculate the size of the images to display.

    So does that mean I can’t use the slideshow type?

    Correct. At least not in a tab.
