Cannot get it working on 3.7

Hi,
I inserted the <?php if(function_exists(‘wp_content_slider’)) { wp_content_slider(); } ?> inside the index and page.php but nothing happend.
I am using the twentytwelve theme.
Any suggestions welcome!
