Cannot Get it to Work!

I am using recaptcha on my forms except for my very simple, one-field email signup form; on that form I do not use recaptcha. I am using Contact Form 7.

I cannot find any instructions for using Invisible reCaptcha so I muddled through it trial and error to get it set up. Here is what I did,

– installed and activated
– went into settings and entered my keys
– also in settings I checked the box for Contact Form 7 support
– I do not see any indication that Invisible reCaptcha is functioning except that my simple email form now throws an error and will not send
– deactivated Invisible reCaptcha plugin and the simple form works again

What am I doing wrong? Do I somehow need to deactivate recaptcha before using Invisible reCaptcha?

Thanks in advance for your help. For now I have deleted the plugin and reverted back to the recaptcha in Contact Form 7.
