Your wp-config.php file for that specific site is where you tell that specific installation of WordPress how to reach your database for that site. So, check that file to see what is being specified, and then check your actual database and its access (via cPanel > phpMyAdmin or cPanel > MySQL) to be certain your database name, table_prefix, MySQL username and password all match at both places as they should.
