• Hi there,

For some reason this feed stopped working. It says: “No posts to display. You may be filtering out too many posts. See this FAQ article for some possible solutions” when the account attached does have posts and there is no filtering within the settings.

I can get images to display if I append permanent=”true”, but they are not current images. I have tried refreshing the API key, which did not work. The only thing I can think is that this plugin needs to be updated. This site is using 2.9.4 (latest appears to be 2.9.7) however the customer is using a “pro personal” edition, which is failing an update if I try to update it.

    Ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey the9mm,

It looks like the access token your client is using does not match the user feed ID. You’ll need to retrieve an access token while logged-in to Instagram account you are trying to show posts from. This is something that Instagram changed last month.

Take a look at this FAQ: https://smashballoon.com/get-access-token-from-another-account/

Since the license activation issue is specific to the “Pro” version, the moderators of this forum would prefer that you contact us on our website for help with this. Try our support page: https://smashballoon.com/instagram-feed/support/

    Thanks,

    Craig

    Hi there,

It looks like the button to refresh the access token does not give you a new one. The link will give a new one. However since the plugin needs to be updated it still isn’t working. I’ll head over to the support page to see if I can get assistance with the pro version.

    Hey again,

It looks like you may have switched to the free version in the mean time and got this working. Let us know if you need any help with the Pro version on our website and we can definitely help you get back up and running!

    Thanks again,

    Craig
