Cannot get API secret key!

    I installed the plug-in, and it says I need a secret key before it will work. That’s fine; I go to the page with the big, green button that says “Customize Contextly and Get API Key”. I click the button. A new tab opens, as I would expect, but it opens to my blog’s home page, not to Contextly, or to any page where there’s an API key of any sort. So, what do I do to get my API key? I even tried going to Contextly.com and looking for a login, thinking that there may be a back door to getting my API key that way, but there doesn’t seem to be a sign-up or login area on the Contextly.com site.
    Frankly, I’m baffled. Anyone have any other ideas?

    Are you using any kind of ad block? If so, turn it off and try again.

    When you retry it, also do this:

    * Go to: View->Developer->JavaScript Console (for Chrome)
    OR
    * Go to: Tools –> Web Developer –> Web Console (for FireFox)

    This will allow you to see how the javascript is executing. If you see any errors, could you please take a screenshot and send it to [email protected]?

    I’ve disabled AdBlock, and tried again. It still went to my home page. I cleared the cache, left adblock off, and it still went to my home page. I tried the web console (I use Firefox), and it opened up a console on the page with the big green button, but when I clicked the button, nothing showed on the console, and the page still went to my home page.

    What should I try now? I have NO programming knowledge; I only know that javascript is something that makes things … do things.
