I have a menu (named “menu55”) with sub menu options – which I want to display with accordion features.
I have added this menu within a Navigation menu widget – called “MenuLeft1″ – to the Left Sidebar.
I then added a Text widget to the Left Sidebar, with shortcode as follows:
    [wpb_category_accordion menu=”LeftMenu1″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]
    But does not work.

I have also tried with shortcode of
    [wpb_category_accordion menu=”LeftMenu1″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]
but this does not work either.

I am using with the “generatepress” theme.

I have also tried both of the above via the Classic Text widget,
    but still does not work.

So think I may have to give up on this accordion plugin. (I would not consider Pro version, if I cannot gain confidence from free version.)

, and I add this shortcode, within a Text widget, to my Left Sidebar
    [wpb_category_accordion menu=”LeftMenu1″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]
    Navigation menu widget

    Can you try this ShortCode?

    [wpb_category_accordion menu="menu55" icon="+" accordion="yes"]

Thanks for suggestion. I tried this, but just displays the Categories, as accordion, and not the Menu. This seems always to be happening now.

Please check this screenshot, This name should be added in the shortcode.

Tried this but still the same. Is still displaying Categories.
(as though doesn’t pick up “menu=” in the shortcode!)

I have no opened ticket #5814 (WPB Accordion Menu or Category – cannot get free version to work with menus.)
    Thanks for investigating further.

All works now – it was my mistake. I was using shortcode of :
    [wpb_category_accordion menu=”menu66″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]
    instead of
    [wpb_menu_accordion menu=”menu66″ icon=”+” accordion=”yes”]

So all fine now. Thanks for investigating, and helping me to fix – so quickly.

    Good to know that.

Do you like to provide this plugin a 5-star rating?

    Huge thanks in advance.
