Cannot fully uninstall Health Check

    I was done using the plugin to troubleshoot a client site, but even after uninstall the Site Health page still shows up under Tools. I’ve checked our plugins folder, it’s not there. I believe it wrote some code somewhere it should not have, because we cannot remove it. Please inform us how to remove your plugin completely.

  • i have the exact same problem… deactivated and deleted, folder not in plugins folder, no files in mu-plugins, gone from plugin list on /wp-admin/plugins.php, no caching plugins installed, cleared browser cache, restarted computer, issue visible on multiple computers….

    but still health check is fully functional under tools!

    Hiya,

    With WordPress 5.2, some features of this plugin were built in, so you will see the Site Health menu item, and the two tabs for Status and Info even without this plugin.

    That could be better documented better explained. Either put it in core or keep it as a plugin. Doing both is really really confusing.
