I’ve just installed WP 4.3, twentysixteen theme, and child themify. The plugin has been activated.

I cannot see how to create the child. I’ve read the FAQs; the screenshot does not look my version of WordPress.

Any suggestions where I can find the make-a-child-theme button?

I can do it manually (painful). I had hoped to use this this plugin.

On the theme screen you need to click the thumbnail of the theme you want to use. It will show up in the row of buttons at the bottom of the modal window that pops up.

Let me know if you’re still having trouble finding it.

    Thank you: Found It!!!

I didn’t know that menu existed; I didn’t even think to look there. I really appreciate your prompt response. (Truth time: I wasn’t having a lot of success building it by hand.)
