  • I have the same problem – no help from Quotery staff. I’ve uninstalled it and re-installed with no changes. Still doesn’t work. I’ll be removing it from my site. Too bad, I liked it – it was interesting…for a couple of weeks.

I just noticed the same today but can’t say for sure when it started.

This is probably an issue on the Quotery.com side of things, not providing “quote data” for the widget to display.

Ahhh, I just refreshed and quotes are back. My guess is there was a temporary outage on their end, the plugin is not to blame. FWIW, we’ve had this installed for nearly a year without issue, aside from today.

    Potential Reasons:

    1. The category you have selected may have either been removed or merged on our database. This was common last year when we first launched and were still making quite a few changes to our site structure. However, this should no longer be an issue, assuming you’ve updated your category selection.

    2. Our server. We rarely experience any downtime, but if you notice an error with the plugin, try visiting Quotery.com to see if the site is loading properly. If it is indeed a server issue, the problem should be resolved within the hour.

If neither of these reasons appears to be the issue, please post here along with the specific category you have selected and we’ll look into it.

I’ve confirmed the wisdom category is valid, so in my case it must have been a blip (reason #2).

Thanks for a nice plugin, cheers.
