cannot enable sending referrers

  • Hi –

    Second installation of WordPress on same server, both using the same database. Installation goes fine, but then I try to add users. No matter what I do (using Firefox of IE, clearing cookies, changing values of network.http.SendRefererHeader) I cannot get past this error. My server has serveral aliases, so I even changed the siteurl value in the database ‘options’ table to correspond to the most commonly used machine name. I’m not seeing anything in logs. Any ideas?

    I found the solution in a previous thread. I disabled privacy protection in my firewall. Sorry for the clutter.
