    Hi,

I cannot update the user and admin email settings for accounts under Review but unable to do. When i check the box and click save settings, it takes me to a page on my site and says “Not Found Nothing found for the requested page. Try a search instead?”

I have not made any changes to files in wp-admin or the UM templates.

I have tried uninstalling the plugin and installing again but the error persists.

    Please HELP!!!!

    Regards

    Hi @slamho

Could you please ask your hosting provider to conflict with the mod_security module on your serve? You can ask them to exclude the UM settings page from it.

    Hi @champsupertramp,

    thanks for the response.

I am a beginner to all this and would really appreciate if you could confirm the below please.

is there a conflict with the mod_security module and that’s why it redirects to my site when I click on Save Changes to enable the email notification?

What UM settings page should they exclude?

PS: When i first installed the UM plugin, i was able to enable the Account activation email.

    Hi @slamho

Some web hostings are adding rules with the firewall(mod_security) in the WP Admin. Please contact your hosting provider to help you with excluding the UM settings from the firewall rules.

    Here are the URIs:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=um_options
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=um_options&tab=email

    Thanks @champsupertramp.

I have logged a support ticket with my hosting provider and referenced this post here in the ticket.

    Thanks @champsupertramp

The problem has been resolved. My hosing provider informed me that I needed to disable ModSecurity in my cPanel, update my email preferences in UM and then enable ModSecurity again.

Thank you so much for your guidance and support. Much Appreciated!
