Cannot enable capability “Create Media”

    Hi.

    I’m trying to enable the “Create Media” capability but when I click on Save it reverts back to being negated. See image

    Hope you are having a good day. Can you elaborate on which role you are trying to give access?

    @bb3cpo From your screen capture, it does look like something is odd about your role name.

    Other than that, before saving you’ll need to apply the same change to the “upload_files” capability in the “Other WordPress Capablities” section. These checkboxes, which correspond to the same actual capability name, are automatically mirrored for a normal checkbox selection / deselection but not for negation / un-negation. The next Capabilities release will resolve this issue.

    I also enabled the “upload_files” capability as you recommended and my issue has been resolved.

    Just for clarification this is a set of capabilities for a custom role. Its name in the role selection drop-down was hidden in Photoshop.
