When I try to edit widgets the normal way I see no widgets load to be edited. This happens in normal widget area as well as in Customizer.

Is there a way to remove widgets from the sidebar using Elementor or do I need a new theme?

It is almost as if this plugin deactivated the default WordPress blocks editor without providing an obvious alternative for adding and editing sidebar widgets.

This really is a site breaking bug. I mean, when I add the Jetpack Top Posts and Pages widget to my sidebar it can’t even be edited. When I go to the Widgets section it just describes it as a legacy widget with no options. I should be able to decide if I want images, etc. in the Top Posts in the sidebar, but you seem to have broken that feature.

@notgoodenough I’ve flagged your account for moderation because you felt the need to be abusive and post profanity. That was a mistake and if you repeat that you will be banned from this site.

I’ve archived your abuse. It’s still there but only forum moderators can see it now.

As you can see, this plugin has poor customer service.

They have amazing customer service. Fantastic even, totally world class. You’re just wrong. As you do not understand, I’ll explain.

You are not anyone’s customer on this site. There are no customers here and never have been.

At best you are an opensource collaborator who is posting a support topic to developers who have gifted you with their free software. They do not owe you a thing and do not owe you even a reply.

If that does not work for you then feel free to remove this free plugin and move on.

If you are a customer then you can’t post here for Elementor support.

Use https://my.elementor.com/ instead. If you do post there, I suggest you keep it civil. Abuse like yours won’t get a result you want.

    Hi,

We do not answer on weekends here but do our best to reply as fast as we can at the start of the week.

You can also use our help center to check for troubleshooting –

As for the issue, can you send a screenshot so I can understand better?

Also, please send a link to your website so I can check the console.

    Thank you.
